If you fancy trying improv but are feeling a bit scared, this is the course for you! Vic's sessions at the Mary Ward Centre are a fun and friendly introduction to comedy improvisation. You don't need to have any comedy, improv or performance experience - you'll learn everything in the room while playing games and creating scenes with new friends. There's no pressure to be funny! You'll find that the laughs come naturally from the situation. This is a safe and inclusive class where you will surprise yourself at your inventiveness and wit.
The three-hour sessions across five Thursdays in May and June are taught by DDG's Victoria Hogg at Mary Ward Centre, Queen's Square, W1CN 3AQ. Victoria Hogg gained an MA in Applied Theatre from Goldsmiths in 2016 and has six years' improv experience. She has learned with Keith Johnstone, iO West, UCB, Second City, Monkey Toast, Spontaneity Shop and Hoopla and with a number of internationally renowned teachers.
